The highlight of the CHOP2 is its custom-forged five-layer steel blade with a genuine copper layer sandwiched into the construction. The exposed copper creates a distinctive contrast along the blade, giving every knife a unique character.

And despite the complex forged construction, the CHOP2 remains one of the most affordable copper-layer forged steel folding knives on the market—an unusual combination of craftsmanship, materials, and value.

The blade features a hand-ground satin finish, with subtle sanding marks that give each piece the character of a hand-finished blade rather than a mass-produced machine finish. The main cutting edge uses a hollow grind, while the tanto-style tip is flat-ground for added tip strength and confident piercing performance.

The handle is CNC-machined from 7075 aerospace-grade aluminum, providing excellent strength while keeping the knife lightweight and practical for everyday carry. It is accented with a Hammered finish textured copper inlay, tying the handle design directly to the copper layer visible in the blade.

Opening is simple and smooth with the flipper tab, while the button lock allows quick, convenient one-handed operation. Ceramic bearings provide a smooth, responsive action.
