The Lanny Plus carries the timeless character of a classic American pocket knife, with a slightly larger profile that offers a fuller and more substantial grip. Its traditional two-hand opening and non-locking construction reflect a quieter, more refined approach to everyday carry.
There is no assisted opening, no aggressive mechanism, and no unnecessary complexity. This is a knife created for those who appreciate maturity, restraint, and old-school craftsmanship.
The blade is made from our exclusive SLD-Magic three-layer composite steel. The visible layered pattern is not laser engraved or printed. It is created through genuine hot-forging, combining multiple layers of steel into a true laminated blade.
With a hardness of approximately 61 HRC, the blade offers a practical balance of edge retention, durability, and everyday cutting performance.
Each Lanny Plus is individually handmade and assembled by experienced craftsmen. The natural wood handle gives every knife its own unique grain and character, while the classic metal fittings complete its warm and traditional appearance.
As North Mountain Blade continues its transition toward modern and tactical knife designs, we have officially discontinued the production of all traditional folding knives.
Once sold out, the Lanny Plus will become part of North Mountain Blade’s traditional knife-making history.
